During my studies in my other projects at last I became the FİRST result in GOOGLE. I studied for this keyword for a long time (more than 1 year actually) and now i am on the top.

Being on the top for the first day bring me 1$ more (My web site’s topic is limited with a small crowd so i dont get so much money from it) I hope the income will raise from day to day.

Congrulations to me for having a FIRST RESULT in GOOGLE.

My recent studies showed me that having regular content on your site, submitting it to google and having people following your threads, commenting them brings good influence on the Pagerank.

I could manage to rise my Pagerank from 3 to 4 in my other project. Just want to share with you guys.

Well everybody if you had started your site and do what i say : You are probably having a pagerank 4 (FOUR). Google has given me 4 pageranks which i find very good. Not working lots of time for the this site but i guess i understood the basics.

What to choose from lots of Themes

Well i have not been writing for a long time. And suddenly i discovered that writing or reading a Dark colored web site is so boring. and makes people pass lots of stuff.

so i get the idea to change my theme. After this change hopefully the last. I will go on with my project. When i have stable form will let you know!

And must add lots of categories to be goodly indexed. I know this from my other projects.

Wordpress plugins are not working after upgrade to 2.3 | Suggestion NOT to update wordpress 2.3

Yeah updating so early is no good. Many of my plugins ain’t working due to WORDPRESS people deleted a table and merge it with another table. So the plugins are looking at the wrong tables and throwing mysql exceptions.

If anything i can tell to those might Wordpress People i should say ” Be friendly to old versions”. I mean at least they could give a sentence saying that “we deleted some tables “post2cat” and you may have problem with your plugins” . But i didn’t see any signs.

Now i had to code plugin errors by my hand or have to wait for the plugin guys to update their work. Maybe it is time for me to write some Wordpress Plugins :))

PS: I figure out that my plugins were old version. when i updated them they worked cool.

How to Upgrade your wordpress to 2.3

Wordpress 2.3 is up and running how?

just before start it is wise to backup your files and db

- copy your themes and plugins and upload directory

- copy 2.3 from wordpress.org and tar -zxvf the file

- copy the themes plugins and old wp-config file

-will ask to upgrade db

- Don’t forget to put your .htaccess file too

yes thats it:)

NOTE : There are some problems in my plugins which they can not file a table. Probably wordpress team merge two tables into one.

Hey there! Been a long time since i couldn’t write but i was too busy. And i was just waiting for google to tell my pagerank. But Google is not telling the pageranks yet. Even one of my friend thinks that Google is not capable of calculating the pageranks and will buy alexa

Since i was not writing for ages. I was flying in the clouds of social bookmarking. I am now in the army of social bookmarkers too. And figure out that the traffic from the social bookmarks are such important as googles index searches. The communities of social bookmarking people are growing like mushrooms.

Digg, Del.icio.us and my favorite Stumbleupon.com .All you need to do is get registered and use their toolbar. When you get in to the community you are asked about your interests. And you can stumble and site gets you random pages you may like about your interests.

If people like your content they give you +1 :) So you are much well known for others. This is a kind of chain of trust. The web people probably must add buttons to their site so that people from social bookmarking can submit the content for you. Even BBC.com is using social bookmarking buttons.

So as a personal note. : DON’T FORGET TO PUT SOCIAL BOOKMARK BUTTONS TO THIS SITE AS WELL.

Well i have not been writing for a while. Why? I dunno i am checking if google has declared pagerank everyday. And still no news. still waiting.

So i decided you to give a good hint for your site.

# 1 - Make campaigns which are for short periods. Don’t give your customers 3 months to think about that product or they may go away.

# 2 - Make your site has a subject. I mean have something that people can dig in.

#3 - Update your content often!! (Yeah me too) Who wants to come to those sites never updated?

#4- Make competitions to make your visitors excited. It is not only the price must be big. And you may also get your visitors info as well

#5- Try to send e-mails bulletins. Don’t think to have thousands but try to have a sofisticated visitors.

#6- Know your people. Know your visitors info always have analytics so know where they come from. what is their intent?

Wordpress has the ability to ping sites about your new data. I thought in the Options > Writing menu there was technorati. but i was wrong. So i added http://rpc.technorati.com/rpc/ping to my in my pinging sites. I checked some sites for what other sites i can ping so i had the complete list into like this.

When does Google updates Pageranks?

I was talking with one of my internet friend. I asked if when does google updates the pagerank information? Because i am really excited about what will be my pagerank. He replied as something like 3 months. I have googled it for sometime and found a page. update list here. .

The page says that ” his Page Rank Update/Export List History contains the dates that Google Toolbar Pagerank (PR) was exported. As of June 28th, there has not been a Toolbar PR export for 59 day(s). The longest time between toolbar PR exports recorded in the below Page Rank Export List was 122 days (Oct 19/2005 to Feb 18/2006).”

So it has been 59 days COMOONNN Google!! Make your update and let us see what is my pagerank.?

PS: I will not be accepting pageranks below 3 :)) kidding..
