SEO Permanent Link customize

Posted June 12th, 2007 by admin

First baby steps to SEO , my entire page was in the form of “http://URL?p=1 ” which doesn’t tell anything extra to people and the search engine it self. so i customize the permanent link under the Options as

/%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%.php

so that my articles now will look like http://www.pageranktutorial.com/2007/06/seo-permanent-link-customize.php which is more readable by Search Engine itself and the humans that are looking to the search engine records. and also easy to see the at least months i wrote the articles.

I feel like i am in the right way.
